Climbaton 2026 runs Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2026, starting at Climb Central Funan #B2-19/21 and finishing at Climb Central The Kallang, Kallang Wave Mall #B1-01. Edition 4 is titled Beyond the Summit. Teams get three hours to complete 42 high-wall routes plus one buddy boulder. The official page was last updated 14 September 2026. Normal registration closed on 18 October 2026. There is no same-day sign-up.
If you already have a booking, pick up your goodie bag at Climb Central Funan from Monday 16 November 2026, before race weekend. Each registered climber gets a participant tee and a goodie bag. The finisher tee is only for teams that hit the 3-hour target. Equipment is not in the fee. Harness and shoes rent for $9.00 GST included at the counter. Bring your own kit if you have it.
Two sessions, two gyms, MRT in the middle
Both days use the same clock. Session 1 climbs 9am to 12pm. Check-in and warm-up 7.30am to 8.30am. Briefing 8.30am to 9am. The latest recommended leave-Funan time for Kallang is 11am. Session 2 climbs 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Check-in 12pm to 1pm. Briefing 1pm to 1.30pm. Kallang cut-off 3.30pm. Late arrivals do not get extra wall time. Miss the briefing and you still start on the published clock.
You start at Funan, 107 North Bridge Road, then you move to Climb Central The Kallang at 1 Stadium Place. Climb Central's contact page lists that gym as The Kallang inside Kallang Wave Mall. The event FAQ calls it Climb Central Kallang. Same building. Transport between the two gyms is on you. Only MRT is allowed. No personal car, no motorcycle. City Hall NS25/EW13 sits under Funan B2. Stadium CC6 sits under The Kallang. The FAQ tells teams to manage their own pacing so the session does not expire on the Circle Line.
SAFRA listed a $5 off per person until 18 October 2026, codes CATSMB for Buddies and CATSMK for Kakis. That window is closed. SAFRA's copy also says 43 climbs. Climb Central's own page and FAQ say 42 high-wall routes plus 1 buddy boulder. Trust Climb Central for the scorecard.
Buddies, Kakis, and a 3-pie floor
Climbing Buddies is a team of 2. Everyone must be 13 or older. Climbing Kakis is a team of 3. At most one child aged 12 or below, and if that child is on the team at least one other climber must be 18 or older. You cannot enter alone. First-timers are barred. Climb Central means people who have not climbed with them before, not people who have never touched a wall anywhere. Confirm that on the FAQ if your partner is new to this brand.
The 42 high-wall routes are a team total, not 42 each. Each successful climb is credited to the person who sent it. Teammates may climb the same route. The same climber may not climb the same route twice. At least 20 of the 42 high-wall routes must be graded 3-pie and above. After the 42, the team still has to finish the buddy boulder inside the same three hours or they are not finishers. Route order is free. You pick lanes and pace. Scoring is a digital team scorecard on an honour system, with marshals on the floor for safety and disputes. Full rules go to registered teams closer to the day.
Normal prices that were live through 18 October 2026: Buddies $152.60 GST included, Kakis $212.55. Early bird 14 to 27 September was $130.80 and $179.85. No refunds after payment. Shirt sizes run 2XS to 2XL on a centimetre chart on the event page. Size changes after checkout are not offered as a service, so compare the chart against a tee you already own.
What Funan looks like on those two days
Climb Central Funan is the civic-district high wall that punches from B2 up through the atrium, the one with the #FUNANSG lightbox overhead. Weekday hours are 11am to 11pm, weekend 9am to 9pm. Climbaton Session 1 is already on the wall before the rest of the mall's Saturday crowd. If you are a regular who is not racing, those four session blocks will eat lanes. Plan a different day for a casual climb, or come after 4.30pm when Session 2 is done.
