Visited Funan branch for some clothing alterations.
Pros - Service was good by Anna, she was able to give suggestions on the recommended vest length for ladies and it worked out great. Alterations took around 3 days for 2 sets of clothing - they were ready on time. There’s one odd stitch which I suspect is out of place but tidy work otherwise and results look good overall. Shop is staffed by 2 people Anna and another gentleman so both genders are covered.
Cons - Pricier than expected with no explanations on cost breakdown, ask before proceeding. Initially booked Master’s time via online booking form which turned out to be unnecessary / unreliable, just turn up if needed.

The clips they used to hang the clothes left large & visible wrinkles, so no point in dropping it off for ironing in the first place.

If you need a reliable tailor with good service, suggest you look someplace else.
Online appointment booking is unreliable. I was stood up despite the reply (Boss was actually not even in SG though a confirmation note was emailed back to me).
Then, the boss M was more than an hour late for my measuring appointment at Marina Square. Even when she arrived, she was chatting outside the shop.
After spending an hour with measuring, we agreed on collection date, a month later which was then stated on the receipt.
After due date, no call, and when I called to ask when I could collect, M told me she hasn’t even started work on my item! Incredible!!!
After I said I would take my business elsewhere, M assured that it would be ready in a week. But no, found out that she hasn’t even worked on it (again!). Gave lame excuses about having changed her HP.
After 3 wasted trips and more than 5 weeks of supposed tailoring time, nothing received despite written & verbal promises.
I should have checked past reviews of May Tailor.
(I had no choice but to give at least a star, for this to be posted).

I booked my appt a week ago for tailoring and I received a confirmation email of the appt. On the day of the appt, I arrived at the shop on time but the shop assistant was not aware of my appt and asked me to contact the boss directly myself. I called and nobody picked up. There was no call back from the boss as well. Unprofessional and a waste of my time.

Great service and very friendly. Clothes were washed, folded and packed well. Rose was very helpful and they also delievered our laundry to MBS, as they have a shop there. Cost was reasonable $10SGD per kilo. Highly recommended.

I’d give negative stars if it were possible. Complete disregard for the customer’s time. I had an appointment booked for the Joo Chiat shop - arrived on time and waited for over 30minutes for someone to come and check-in. Never happened. Tried multiple times to call May - no response. Never going back and definitely discouraging all my friends from going here as well.

$10SD Per kilo with min 2kg. Dropped off and pick up next day after 5. Clothes neatly folded and placed in cellophane bag. The shop is on floor 4 in Lucky mall in one of the corners. Hard to find the first time. Good service.

Laundry service is terrible. Doesn’t even want to call you if your items are ready and instead ask you to call to check. Service also very expensive. Don’t know why they can last so long as a business

As seen in other reviews, there is no commitment to customer service or time.
Upon booking I had asked for a price range and was quoted around $10 to $15 for a simple work. When visiting, I had request for a simple alteration. When I tried on, the alteration got overwhelming with loads of recommendation and pins. At the point cost was not discussed. In the end I had to pay as much as what I had paid for the item. Spending good money on advanced payment, yet asked via message if it is ready, but no reply. Asked via phone if it is ready, asked to send message.
Not worth the price even if the work is good. Does not aligned to customer needs, take payment for their service, yet does not deliver the service as promised on time. Disappointing.
