Sent two items for alterations. Was not trash by the scheduled time for pick up. The next day I was asked again to be re-measured. I kindly asked to please inform me when ready so that i don’t have to make unnecessary trips and waste time waiting. Next day, which was Day-2 before my departure I was hoping to finally collect my dress which was said to be done (again no call/text to inform readiness), it didn’t fit and I could barely breathe. I was told it could be redone immediately and should be ready for collection in 90 mins.. I waited for another 30mins, and got my silk dress that’s badly done, and mishandled- i could see silk threads being pulled etc. I tried not to speak as I was angry and utterly frustrated. They charged $40 instead of $60 as a good will and apologies the that they are just too busy these two weeks. Long in short, I agreed with some of the reviews here that if you value time and craftsmanship, look somewhere else.

Absolutely terrible service,rude staff no especially Rose who is at the Lucky Plaza branch. I have in my jumpsuit for a length alteration and it came back much shorter than what I confirmed when I was getting my fitting done. They are very expensive,I paid over $45 just to take the length up. When I stated that the length was shorter Rose,the lady at the branch rudely told me to leave as there was nothing that could be done. She embarrassed me in front of other customers and told me to go somewhere else. I have been more than polite despite getting an outfit back that was tailored much smaller. I urge you to go elsewhere. They are arrogant,rude and most of the branches have no numbers. The head office are equally lazy and don’t even answer the phone. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. THEY ARE RUDE and ARROGANT.

Reasonably priced laundry and alterations, manager lady is great! Timeline normally clear, sometimes store is closed but it does say to call/whatsapp to check hours (esp on Sundays).

Personally had a great experience with Mays tailor for the past 2 years, sent many dresses to them (lucky plaza outlet)for alterations and they always come back perfect . Naturally I’d recommend them to anyone who requires alteration , including my husband. But Rose (the lady at the receptionist) did such a sloppy job pinning the clothes that May had to stepped in. Calls promised were not delivered, had to call them on the date of collection and apparently uniform was still not ready. That was okay given Cny May be a busy period for them. My husband went down to collect his uniform yesterday but apparently many excuses were given as to why the uniform was not altered the way he instructed them to be. Saw the uniform, at home and I was embarrassed and disappointed that the workmanship was so terrible. It was just a uniform, surely not that hard to screw up. Not sure if it was because we were using the entertainer app but the quality of work and service provided was appalling. I will not be recommending this place anymore, please don’t waste your money here. Really disappointing guys.

It’s my first time trying this tailor and I visited the Lucky Plaza branch. Store manager was not very attentive. Promised that collection was possible the next day but when I arrived they weren’t ready. She asked me to wait 2 more hours and was quick to brush me off (there were other more interesting customers I suppose). I did manage to collect my clothes the same day after all that. Workmanship is satisfactory but service wasn’t impressive at all. :/
