Astute Medical Aesthetics Clinic

I have a pleasant experience every time I come to Astute. My consultant Christal always follows up promptly with me on my post treatment and the facial therapist Michelle was great too. Dr Jason was great too and am very patient and detailed in explaining and recommending the type of treatments suitable for my skin. He is also very skilled and made the treatment less painful for me. I have seen very good results and have also recommended some of my friends here.

I went to Astute Medical Clinic for acne treatment and had a really great experience. I wanted a treatment that can help to reduce sebum production-combo laser and hydra facial which help to improve my skin. Effects are satisfactory kudos to Dr. Desmond and Angeline who is super professional and attentive to my needs. Definitely a 10/10 experience.

I highly recommend Mimi She is very skilled, patient, and truly understands my needs. Her facials treatment always relaxing and leave my skin feeling refreshed and glowing. She takes the time to listen and customize treatments, making every session a great experience. The clinic is also excellent.very clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, making every visit comfortable and enjoyable. Visited twice and felt well looked after. In March I had an FMF ESSENTIAL with Summer which was excellent. She explained everything very well and I felt great after. We also had a lovely conversation. After the treatment Angela convinced me to sign up for a few treatments with a good discount . She truly is a saleswoman. ;-) Yesterday I had the same facial again with Summer and it was nice again. I also a LONG PULSE LASER with Dr Stella for Rosacea. She also explained the treatment and provided some advice.

I had my first aesthetic treatments at Astute, including laser and filler procedures performed by Dr. Mark. He was incredibly patient, thoroughly explaining the laser process and offering professional advice on enhancing my facial features. The aestheticians at Astute were also very friendly and shared helpful tips on improving my skincare routine.

Good experience - served by Christal and Summer. I enjoyed the hydrafacials so far and looking forward to more treatments. Highly recommended!

Very helpful and warm stuff. Angie was the one assisting me with booking and sales and Summer did my procedures. I recommend Venus legacy treatment and the clinic.

Went for sylfirm with Dr mark, fast and efficient process. Best of all was the therapist Michelle . She was very proactive and attentive to all the little details and my needs before , during, even right after the procedure. This made my visit today very comfortable and enjoyable. This is my third time here. The ladies at the reception were also very professional and provide great customer service, very kind and friendly. Thanks.

Dr. Jason has been my go-to doctor for the past 1 year and 8 months. I hesitated writing this review because I don't wish to make it even harder to book an appointment with him! (Yes — he is that good.) For someone like me who has tricky skin conditions and high expectations, Dr. Jason consistently delivers his aesthetic expertise calmly, confidently, and flawlessly. He also does not advise me on what I do not need, only what's required. His work speaks for itself. Clinic assistant, Summer, is a gem. She is extremely thoughtful, gentle, and I am thankful to her for always calming my nerves (and pain) and being so genuine and empathetic. All the CAs are lovely but Summer is definitely my favorite. :) Angela, my service officer, never pressures me into purchasing treatments I don't need. This is a very important trait to me, as consumers/clients generally do their own prior research and roughly know what they need or want. Being pushy actually doesn't lead to client retention. Angela makes me feel comfortable and answers my queries professionally and genuinely. Even if I don't commit to anything, she still treats me well. Hence, my overall experience at Astute is a wonderful one, from the moment I enter the clinic until I leave. While the doctor's skill is definitely the top factor, the front desk and behind-the-scenes clinical assistants/therapists are equally key to creating the best client experience. This would naturally lead to client retention. It is how one makes a client FEEL. Assured, Respected and aesthetic Results delivered. Astute East Coast used to have a service associate named Merlin, and she was the epitome of what true 'Service with a Heart' meant. She was one of the key reasons why I initially chose to stick with Astute. Thank you, Astute Funan, keep up the great work.

Dr Desmond is very friendly and skillful. Went to a few aesthetic doctors before but by far I have to say he is the best ! Rejuran was much more bearable with his skills . Clinic assistant MiMi is very friendly and gentle as well. Angela is very welcoming and always has the brightest smile on her face when you see her she will recommend packages that is suitable for you and does not oversell or pushy as well. Generally a really good experience here therefore I Decided to get a package with them

Strongly recommend everyone to go to Astute at Funan. Great doctor, great team. Did quite a number of skin booster treatments and facials there. Elaine the clinic advisor who is very professional and always know what I need and recommending treatments that is truly suitable for me. I see great improvement in my skin. Mimi the aesthetician who is super friendly with good energy and also very proactive! Lastly, and most importantly, my experience with Dr Desmond Tan is always pleasant and comfortable. I’ve tried skin booster treatments from other places and I was traumatised with the pain and all. It was entirely a whole new world here. I didn’t know skin booster treatments can be done so comfortably it totally erase all my fears and worries. Dr Desmond Tan is super gentle and very experienced. I feel great under their care!

Been with Astute for the longest time and Summer has been a gem always. From East coast days to Funan, she has always been committed to my skincare journey. What I really appreciate is how attentive and knowledgable she is, with every session my skin feels smoother and has seen a noticable difference. Each facial session also feels like a therapy session made more personal which makes the whole experience comfortable which is why I’d always highly recommended Astute.

The people here is nice, big room and room is posh and clean with tv. Did hydrafacial with manual extraction trial at sgd 77 plus gst. Recommend you guys try their trial hydrafacial but their package not cheap so didn't sign up. The hydrafacial machine they use is authentic and original. The hydrafacial comes with double cleanse and 3 types of solution used on skin, lactic acid, salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid and ending with mask, no face massage. No allergic reaction after facial. By the way, there is no hardselling. :)
