Soft boiled eggs on point, beef abit too little. But overall a good meal at its cost. Love the veggies, fried with minced garlic, tasted good.

bought the half boiled egg teriyaki salmon bowl in M but didnt come the same as the picture, the salmon was way little and so are the seaweed and the green onions, not worth it for $13 would rather eat at other place. also in the past, i remember we would usually get drinks for free, but this time there are none and we ordered drinks and it came out so long, i finished half my food then the drinks just came out, i only ordered a simple green tea

Lousy experience here! I brought my 1 year old baby in. My baby is told to not be able to eat in the restaurant because it is a halal restaurant and commercial food pouch with vegetables flavours are not allowed. We have to feed our baby outside. They told us that we have to be a Muslim family to have baby eat the food pouch here. If I have not paid for my food, I would have just leave. And after calming myself to eat the food, I realised the food is really very salty. They really need to do something about their seasoning. Ate at other branch before and I remembered it wasn’t that bad. Anyway, this is very unfriendly and not kids friendly. Please put a signage outside if there is such rule!

First time trying Sukiya and I really do quite like it. I had to gyudon (M) with a side order of tofu and soup. I also added on the shrimp balls which was also very nice.

I ordered the Demi-Glazed Mushroom Gyudon with Cheese which was fantastic but not perfect as the sauce doesn’t blend well. Service was fast and efficient and probably the best branch I went so far Edit: Came back and ordered Gyudon with Egg, it doesn’t look appealing and isn’t as good as it used to be. Portion also shrunk.

i love sukiya a lot but seriously… u serve okonomiyaki gyudon which OBVIOUSLY has mayo but youre NOT WILLING to provide mayonnaise for chicken karaage? do better. your staff has the cheek to say “sorry 我們這裡沒有 mayo” ok then… what are you putting in your okonomiyaki don?

it was so horrible. The bibimbap is nothing like advertised- horribly small and stingy portions. Confirmed with the staff if the portion is supposed to be like this and he said yes.. contacted them on IG but just got ignored too.,,, so horrible haahah Anyway the taste is fine it’s just the ridiculously pathetic portion

Feedback on Recent Dining Experience. 1. Service Experience: In the past, staff warmly greeted customers and guided us to our seats. However, during my latest visit, there were no greetings, and we were simply pointed to available tables. This change felt impersonal and unwelcoming. 2. Cleanliness: Previously, tables were promptly cleaned and sanitized after each use, ensuring a hygienic and pleasant environment. Unfortunately, this attention to detail seems to have declined, as the table we were directed to had not been wiped down. 3. Food Quality: The truffle mushroom dish, which I have always loved, was disappointing this time. It lacked any substantial mushroom pieces, containing only small bits, which didn’t meet the usual quality I’ve experienced. 4. Beverage Service: Water was always served in the past, but this service now seems to have been discontinued. I’m also unsure whether tea is still being offered, as it was not provided during this visit. 5. Staff Interaction: Lastly, I noticed a shift in the demeanor of the new staff. The lack of friendliness and engagement, particularly from the younger team members, detracted from the welcoming atmosphere I’ve always appreciated. I share this feedback in the hope that these issues can be addressed to restore the excellent standards I’ve come to associate with your restaurant.

Ordered the melted cheese yakiniku but the cheese was not melted properly.. The taste doesn’t match the other outlets which is usually a 4/5. Ordered the soft boil egg gyudon but it came as almost hard boiled egg..

It's a casual dining place that serves average at best food quality. I always order XL size gyudon but receive more rice than beef. Flavour of the menu items can be hit or miss. I ordered karaage as a side dish but it was a rip-off as I was served a measly small portion. The dining space is quite cramped in between tables as well. Staff aren't friendly at all.

Pretty normal sukiya but the quality I feel is getting a little worser had the new truffle Demi glacé which was alright and the other bowl was the karage which was rather dry. Overall it was allright

Diners seated at the table next to us which came after us were served with the water promptly after being seated. Despite seeing that we were not served the drinks, staff continued with clearing other tables and pretended not to see 🤷🏻♀️

Karaage bowl is nice including the sauce, just that occasionally the sauce taste a bit different. Overall best. When crowded do be patient with the staff and kitchen to serve your order. Unless exceptional happening

Sukiya is 1 of the best Japanese restaurant chain in Singapore. The food is delicious and value for money. You can also choose the type of portion combinations that is suitable to your preference. Service is prompt and efficient. Order system is simple and clear. Highly recommend.
