Food was disappointing. Had the Yuzu Tsukemen, noodles and toppings were fine, but the dipping sauce was horrible. Tastes plainly salty with overpowering yuzu that did not compliment at all. Tsukemen is supposed to be a simple yet fulfilling dish, but they executed it so horribly. Sauce had no delicate complexities in it, and their ajitama tastes like it was only marinated in soy and nothing else. Definitely not worth my $19

Afuri in Japan is one of my favourite places of all time. Sadly the shio ramen I had here had no flavour whatsoever. Had their tsukemen here previously and it was decent. Staff there were polite and friendly.

Poor value and rude waitress. I didn't mind the flavours. We had two of the No MSG Ramen dishes. The texture of the ramen was nice, the broths had quite nice unique flavours. The quantity of protein was, to put it mildly, stingy. My dish had a token of pork cut so thinly it was shameless. With service and tax the bowl was $19 for essentially ramen. When I asked the waitress to pass on my comments to the manager, she actually replied "What do you want ME to do about it!"... Well, as requested, pass the comments on to the management! Not worth a repeat experience...

Many food options in the area but decided to come here for a quick meal. Ordered the dipping noodles that came with a side of fried chicken. Food wasn’t great - dipping noodle too acidic and fried chicken over fried. Female wait staff was friendly though.

Had a little ramen craving adventure at Afuri Ramen @ Funan! I went all-in with the Ninniku Tok Ramen and requested for extra chili powder to crank up the heat as the ramen itself wasn’t spicy even when I had requested for extra spice. Meanwhile, my friend had her favorite, the Asari Shio Ramen. The ramen was solid and flavorful, but I was hoping for a bit more punch. It’s probably perfect for most people, though. The noodles were on the firmer side, which was fine but not mind-blowing. They also have beer, though the selection is limited—I ended up with an Asahi, which was better. Just a heads-up, the beer is a bit pricey. Service was a bit sluggish, probably because they were short-staffed. The place had the classic Japanese restaurant vibe—simple and cozy, but nothing too out of the ordinary. All in all, it’s a good spot if you’re nearby and craving a decent bowl of ramen. If you’re in the mood for something extra special, you might want to explore other options in Funan.

It's a shame it tastes so far from anything I've tried in Japan. the only thing that comes close is the texture of the ramen. I hope they fix the food. When i came here on dinner time, the bussiness really slow. I was the only table when i came at 18:30. Then when i left, there was total 3 table included mine, meanwhile others restaurant bussiness very good. But after this kind of food taste, no wonder the bussiness very slow. For this kind of ramen taste, it’s really overpriced, although we know afuri is a japan famous ramen. But here in singapore, completely different taste. Please fix the ramen taste. Menu : Signature Yuzu Ramen with Gyoza It’s 5/10 for me.

My partner and I went here on a visit to Singapore, she was very excited to go here as she'd heard good things about them online (or at least the Japanese branches of the chain) and was keen to try them. My partner had the Spicy Tsukemen and while the meat was decent the rest of the meal was a let down and not really all that spicy at all. I had the Yuzu Shoyu ramen as I love yuzu and while I could taste yuzu in the broth it was a very minimal flavour and the broth was very oily. Along with this the slice of cha shu I got I got in my ramen was like shoe leather. We also ordered the spicy kara age chicken to share, and the pieces arrived far too hot to eat temperature wise, but they weren't all that spicy (even for my mediocre palate) and were really oddly greasy, not to mention huge and unwieldy. The service was, quite frankly, atrocious. This was the first time we had ever been to the restaurant and when we walked in the staff just blatantly ignored us at first, and it wasn't until I noticed a small sign near the till about ordering our food using a QR code that I realised that was what we were supposed to do. The booth they sat us in was also really REALLY cramped and I'm not a small person which made the dining experience rather uncomfortable. Overall a really disappointing experience and neither my partner nor myself will be returning to this location.

The lunch set comes with noodle, sides and drink. Price seems before tax etc. Taste wise, the spicy tsukumen is well made with nice sauce at the side. Meat is quite tender. Overall good nice taste. Sides dumpling is okay. Tried this few times and taste is still consistent.

Got the spicy yuzu tsukmen. Definitely unique flavour, the toppings that came along complimented it well, and worth its price.
