First time we tried Singaporean breakfast type which is kinda good and unique. We ordered Butter Sugar Toast set and French Toast with Kaya set. They both came with a cup of milk tea (not sweet) and soft-boiled egg they will crack it and served on the dish for you. The toast came out late so the egg got cold down quick and not taste as good as I expected. You can have the choose of dark soya, light soya and pepper salt. You can do the dark soya to enhance the savory with creaminess of the egg yolk together or you can dip the toast in the egg or eat separately. It’s fun to try but it’s not that special taste or anything.

Was at the Funan outlet today, Mon, 7 Apr, 4.40pm & was served by a very UNPROFESSIONAL cashier in a black shirt who sighed VERY LOUDLY just coz we wanted to make a change to our order. We had actually told him on the change the 1st round, but he didnt hear us. So we asked for the change again & dats when he gave such a huge sigh - as if we're askin for something that was vwry complicated. I'm sorry. If making a simple request of changing the order, even before the order was made is very difficult...then perhaps this is an unsuitable line for u. And this is coming frm someone who is ALSO in customer service. I hope Ya Kun will seriously consider their service standards at this outlet.

Strange that there were so many bad reviews for this place. I just went yesterday and the service was polite and efficient. I waited quite a while to order as there was a long queue but it moved quickly enough. And I didn’t have to wait long for my durian kaya toast at all. Also, it’s at level B2 and not floor 2 as stated among the Google map details.

I went to Yakun funan today and the food is delicious!! It's very busy and the staff members are all working flat out. They got our orders ready really quickly.

I went to Yakun Funan last week and I ordered set A, drinks change to hot Large cup of Milo. The lady in black shirt explained to me that It has additional charges for milo and I have no problem with that. Milo was nice and she gives me a generous amount of it. There's a queue but they managed it well The toast was fast given by the toaster, and they serve me politely as well. The ambiance was good and the quality of food was superb.😍 Well definitely recommend this outlet. Friendly auntie cashier also makes my day. Well definitely badk again.

Okay Kaya toast and eggs and milk tea at Ya Kun. The Kaya jam is not very well spread and the slabs of butter are slightly too thick making it overpowering. Milk tea was fine and the eggs were also okay.

The soft boiled eggs were cold and overcooked. Doesn't look appetising and appeared to have been pre boiled before serving. There were few customers in the late afternoon.

Uncle in charge of making coffee this morning had extremely terrible attitude (looks new as I haven’t seen him before), hollering at everybody early in the morning. Worse of all, he got orders wrong on top of his ridiculous attitude. Ordered a kopi and he gave teh. Only noticed after leaving as my order was a takeaway. There are many tourists who can’t communicate well in English or Chinese, its basic courtesy to have a bit more patience with them. Such a disgrace to see our locals being rude to these poor tourists.

Had 2 horrible experience at Ya Kun City Square n City Hall recently and was skeptical but for this Branch, staff were good. Perhaps they are new? 😂 Guy with specs manning the counter was friendly and nice. Food here is as usual, good. No complaints and all was 👍👍👍
