How pleasant to find an insect pooling in my Malatang bowel when I was half way of eating.
One of the female staff was not very patient and increased the tone of voice when it comes to ask her to repeat the words that she just said about the flavor options, I wish you have a lovely day, and maybe be a bit more patient and nicer to ppl to cheer up yourself, and potentially make others day.

Disappointed with this mala tang. Despite a variety of vegetables and meats, the selection of sauces was limited. I ordered the spiciest option, but the mala flavor was weak, lacking the signature numbing and spicy sensation.

Over order a bit for lunch. Came with 2 big bowl which is abit too much as most customer around us are all having the smaller bowl.
We tried low spices level to try the soup for the mala. Will try the higher spices level next time. For the perverse soup, a little under whelming.
Overall the soup is still nice and we finished all of it.
Only is price abit expensive maybe cause what we ordered.

went there to take away my food, told them i wanted to separate the soup from the noodles. but the cashier did not hear but blamed me for not saying that i wanted to separate the soup from the noodles. i feel so blamed because i did tell them that i wanted to separate. the auntie inside kindly help me to separate. the cashier even shouted and say in chinese "if she got say i will write one" like i dont understand where their attitude come from? please train your staff properly. this behaviour is unacceptable. food was good though! visited on 25th May.

Have eaten a few times here but realised I didn't post a review. In general the food is alright but what I dislike is that they only boil the items even when you order the mala mix.
On this note, on the day where I ordered this, the cashier seemed to have bad experience of customers not properly announcing their orders. Even though I had properly articulated that I wanted the mala mix in Mandarin, she still asked if I wanted the mala soup or mix, and cautioned? that the mix had peanuts. It doesn't make for a nice experience when the staff is second guessing your order in an elevated tone.

Pork bone soup is a 5 star! The collagen taste is addictive. Not too thick so it goes well with the ingredient. Mala soup is a bit disappointing which is why I gave 4 stars. Not much numbness and spiciness. Pickled veg pork soup is pretty normal as the pickled veg covered the collagen taste.
Ingredients are fresh and prawns taste sweet. I will definitely come back for the pork bone soup.
A tip will be to take everything in two pieces and will add up to the minimum order of 180g easily. The price is reasonable despite the other reviews here.

Came for the HSR event. Tried their hot and sour pork broth. Overall taste was good. The egg chives dumpling was bad though. Especially it was served cold for some reason.

Place isn’t clean. Doesn’t sanitize the food claws and bowls like other mala places I’ve been to. Seafood options very little. Vege like potato come only in whole thing and not slices so they force u to order a lot . Minimum 280g so not suitable for tiny eaters like me and my partner. WORST THING IS MY MALA TASTE (and look) LIKE TOMATO???? 😭😭😭 I order mala but got tomato damn sad 🤡🤡🤡 would nvr come back bc this is my second terrible experience here. The taste really cmi , my partner tried the tomato one also damn gelat. The chilli condiments section super limited 🤡🤡 guys go try out hibiscus tree at Millenia Walk it’s ALOT BETTER.

This outlet is layout is good rectangular shape. The foods are pay by weigh. Price are a bit high. Taste are acceptable. Will be back.

Overall, a pretty pleasant experience! The food was alright, fairly priced ($47 for 2 large bowls) and rather delicious.
We ordered 1 dry and 1 soup bowl, both medium spice (中辣) but it was honestly barely anything.
The service was alright and the staff were prompt in preparing the food.
Would recommend visiting to satisfy your mala cravings!
