My comfort food~ Love the flavourful mala soup base and huge variety of ingredients to choose from, though not all are fresh. Of all the outlets I've visited before, I personally feel that Funan and Chinatown Point taste the best. Cost wise, it has slightly increased over the years. $41.80 for this bowl of mala.

First time eating this. Their sour pickled vegetable soup is a bit salty but delicious, quite affordable too. Great environment, fast service too.

Quite consistent across the gong yuan outlets. Ma la tang not as punchy as other outlets I've been to, but tomato soup is good.

My recent visit to the mala restaurant was a mixed experience. The food, particularly the mala soup, was mediocre, with a watery taste that didn't quite hit the mark. I observed that both the table and utensils were slightly dirty, which detracted from the overall dining experience. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant falls into the acceptable category. The ambiance and service were satisfactory, providing a decent environment for those craving mala, though improvements in cleanliness and flavor intensity could elevate the experience.
