RESTAURANT COOK (New Outlet/ Central & Eastern/ MRT/ Shopping Mall/ 5 Days Workweek/ Up to $3.4k)

We’re hiring passionate Cooks to support our Client's New Outlet - Hai Kah Lang Seafood Porridge & Noodle Restaurant (Gross Salary up to 3.5K) in Funan Mall - serving Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner!

Responsibilities:

Kitchen Staff Duties and Responsibilities Summary:

• Arrive in a clean uniform and safety shoes while maintaining high personal hygiene.
• Store, label, and refill cleaning chemicals to ensure proper management.
• Monitor and record temperatures of storage units for food safety compliance.
• Clean and check prep surfaces, utensils, and equipment prior to use.
• Prepare, cook, and portion food following recipes and quality standards.
• Plate food and provide support to chefs at various stations.
• Assist with ingredient preparation, unpack deliveries, and rotate stock using FIFO principles.
• Store and label excess food correctly to prevent spoilage.
• Keep the kitchen clean and follow hygiene protocols at all times.
• Shut down and secure equipment and kitchen entry points at shift’s end.
• Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors for restocking.
• Participate in training and maintain team communication.
• Ensure all tasks and safety checks are completed before leavin

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Food Safety Certificate (Level 1)
• Candidate must have at least in the F&B industry with 3 years in a Related Position
• Knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety protocols, and hygiene standards
• Knowledge of maintaining seafood freshness and odour control.
• Comfortable working in a fast pace environment
• Willing to work shift including weekends and public holidays.
