Development Executive

In line with our mission to create the best of Singapore theatre, Wild Rice is looking to expand our Development team. We are looking for a DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE to support our work in fundraising, donor engagement, corporate outreach and organisational business planning.

If you are passionate about working in the theatre and keen to help Wild Rice raise funds and develop relationships for our long-term sustainability, we just might be looking for you!

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Development Executive, you will be part of a team that works to conceptualise, develop and implement a sustainability and growth strategy for Wild Rice through these channels:

• Donation processing
• Updating various databases
• Assist with communications (email and WhatsApp) to donors
• Assist with general enquiries via email, WhatsApp and calls
• Assist with fundraising campaigns
• Assist with planning and organising Outreach and Fundraising Events
• Other general administrative tasks

Prospective candidates should ideally possess:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a related field (e.g. Business Development, Fundraising, Philanthropy, Hospitality, Events, Project Management).
• Excellent administrative skills to help maintain our database of donors and supporters, with good organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• The ability to stay effective under pressure, multi-task, work independently, exercise good judgement and discretion, and maintain a positive attitude in stressful environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant applications (e.g. Canva, Excel, Mailchimp, Teams, Outlook), with a good understanding of CRM systems.
• A passionate interest in Singapore’s arts and cultural sector, with a view towards facilitating the growth and longevity of Wild Rice and our theatre industry.
