Operations Supervisor

Job Scope: Operations Planner cum Delivery Backup Personnel

Role Purpose

Plan, coordinate and optimise daily delivery operations while serving as an on-ground delivery backup to ensure service continuity, SLA adherence and regulatory compliance in Singapore’s last-mile logistics environment

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Planning & Dispatch
   Plan daily and ad-hoc delivery routes using delivery portal, allocate drivers and vehicles, sequence jobs to optimise time fuel and manpower, and manage same-day changes due to traffic weather or customer requests

2. Resource & Capacity Management
   Monitor fleet availability driver rosters leave and MC coverage, ensure sufficient backup capacity during peak periods, and recommend outsourcing or redeployment when required

3. Delivery Execution Backup
   Stand in as delivery driver or rider when manpower gaps arise, perform loading unloading POD capture and customer handover, and uphold service standards and safety procedures

4. Customer & Stakeholder Coordination
   Liaise with clients internal CS and other colleagues on delivery schedules exceptions and escalations, provide timely updates and resolve issues professionally

5. Compliance & Safety
   Manage fleet and ensure adherence to regulations, vehicle roadworthiness and licence, inspection matters, and company SOPs including data protection for POD and customer information

6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
   Track KPIs such as on-time delivery utilisation cost per drop and incident rates, prepare daily and monthly reports, and propose process improvements

7. Continuous Improvement & Digitalisation
   Provide administrative support in the implementation of service/process improvement projects, document SOPs and train team to embrace change

Requirements & Skills

• Diploma or equivalent with experience in last-mile or B2B delivery operations

• Hands-on route planning dispatch and fleet coordination experience

• Willingness and fitness to perform delivery duties as backup

• Familiarity with Singapore roads industrial estates and CBD delivery constraints

• Basic data analysis and MS Office proficiency

• Strong communication problem-solving and customer handling skills

• Valid Singapore driving licence appropriate to vehicle class preferred
