Open air cafe in the atrium of the busy Funan mall. First try on a Sunday but thankfully getting a seat wasnt too difficult. They serve lots of hot beverages and a variety of sugary and savoury treats. Ordered a cafe latte and a black coffee and both were good. The food looked tempting though havent tried it. Service is largely self serve so no complaints there either.

First time trying out Sinpopo’s coffee, cakes, and kueh — and they really live up to the hype! The cakes are rich and delicious, the kueh is nostalgic and beautifully made, and the coffee is surprisingly good — smooth, aromatic, and a perfect match for the sweet treats.
Loved the cosy atmosphere and the warm, friendly staff who made the whole experience even better. Great place for a relaxing catch-up or a little indulgence. Will definitely be back for more!

We came at around 8.15 pm but was told by the two staff that they are CLOSING IN 15 MINS even though the closing time on google is 9pm. I clarified with the staff and the guy said that from 8.30pm onwards they only allow take away. In the end, we ordered two cakes to go and sat at the open space area to eat. Not sure why the staff have to enforce this rule. If they dont allow dine in from 8.30pm onwards then just change the closing time to 8.30pm. The cake is good but customer service needs to be improved

Pre-ordered the $29 cake deal a few weeks back, which seemed like good value, as you get the whole cake for about half the price. Unfortunately, that’s the only positive.
Service was appalling. Although the open-air cafe supposedly closes at 9pm on Tuesdays, we were rudely turned away at 8pm as staff mopped the floors and passive-aggressively pushed out remaining customers.
We were pointed, with a finger, and referred to the counter for takeaway instead. Ordinarily, I would have walked out, but a family member was disappointed we couldn’t dine in, so we went ahead with the cake deal to make up for it.
Closer to the collection date, we called to ask if we could pick up the ready-made, over-the-counter cake earlier. The request was flatly denied with vague references to company “policy”.
Still, we hoped the cakes might redeem the experience. They didn’t.
The putu piring cake was a disastrously dry mix of sponge layer and coconut flakes that sucked all moisture from the mouth. The decadent brown sugar layer couldn’t save it. The kaya cake, though rich, had unremarkable flavour.
All in all, a thoroughly disappointing experience. Sinpopo@Funan should focus less on gimmicky discounts and more on improving both service and the actual quality of their cakes.

Like the gula melaka cake very much. Not too sweet, moist fluffy. Latte is strong. Relaxing environment. Comfortable the sofas. Good place to chill after dinner.

I visited Sinpopo today (19 July)at 6.20pm and had an outstanding experience, thanks in large part to our wonderful staff, Jo! From the moment I arrived, Jo made me feel welcome with his warm smile and friendly demeanor.
He was incredibly attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed while also providing great recommendations from the menu. Jo's knowledge about the cakes and desserts was impressive, and he took the time to explain the different flavors and options, which made my choices even easier.
What stood out the most was Jo's genuine passion for customer service.
Thank you, Jo, for your exceptional service! I highly recommend Sinpopo to anyone looking for delicious treats. I can’t wait to return!

Kueh Salat $8
Kaya custard 🍮 part doesn't taste nice as it was too eggy, glutinous rice part is norm
✨ Damn Good Kaya & Salty Butter 🧈 $8
Brioche is chewy+fluffy at the same time, kaya custard is sweet but starchy
Long black was bad as the staff doesn't know how to brew it

Had a wonderful experience at the Funan outlet! :) I went in hoping to redeem a birthday deal, but the staff kindly informed me it was only available at the TANGS outlet. Even so, he wished me a happy birthday and surprised me with a complimentary plate of muah chee. Such a thoughtful gesture AHHHH it truly made my day! 🥹

My first time eating here and it was amazing! My personal favourite dish is the cocktail prawn salad & dashi butter, it was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. I would love to commend Zayna that was working today as well. She was a very lovely and friendly staff that helped me with my order.

Overpriced for the cake quality/experience. The putu piring cake costs 9.50, for that price you should expect premium experience. Should not be having to spit out a chunk of unmelted gula melaka…photo. Cake was slightly dry. And quite empty—unlike similar priced cakes at competing brands like Joe and dough, which serves gooder gula melaka cake.
Cuppa Coffee was good, dark enough.
Don’t like the way the food is served at the same place as the ordering. Never a good idea to allow strangers’ saliva to fall into your food.
