I've been a regular customer at this outlet, visiting 2–3 times a month, but the experience during my most recent visit was extremely disappointing. The service has dropped drastically. First, the plate used to serve rice was visibly dirty—completely unacceptable and unhygienic. When I politely requested a new clean plate of rice, the staff member appeared visibly unhappy about it. I also observed several hygiene issues among the staff. Some were touching their hair and eyelids (possibly adjusting eyeliner or lenses), and even eating behind the drinks counter with their face masks down. It’s unclear whether the food they were eating was from the restaurant or their own, but it raised serious concerns—especially for those of us who choose this place for its halal certification. To make matters worse, the food portions were much smaller than usual. What used to be three full fried chicken wings is now five tiny wings pieces. The beef kailan had barely any beef and was about half the usual portion. The tom yam soup was very diluted, had barely any ingredients, and was only about three-quarters of the usual serving size. I genuinely hope the management looks into this and takes steps to improve both the service and hygiene standards. Thank you.

I was pleasantly surprised to find such delicious Thai food, I always thought Sanook was a chain and perhaps too commercialized. However, all the dishes we tried were a hit. They had a promotional set, and the portion of fish was very decent. The fish were meaty, appetizing with the zesty taste. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, while the vegetables were delightfully crunchy and flavorful. The service was also prompt. This restaurant definitely deserves a larger crowd!

The rice was cold and HARD. Green curry was so sweet that I almost felt like I was eating sugar soup. Fish was without any flavor. Pad Thai noodles were short and all mushy - and tasted nothing like Thai food but rather a hawker stall’s char kway teow. I spent $80 for a meal and left without eating more than 3 bites. What a waste of money and time. This is by far the worst Thai food I’ve ever had, if I can call it that. It’s expensive to go to hospitals in Singapore - don’t risk your health here.

Love the restaurant set up which add up to the atmosphere, giving the food more YUMMY. In fact the food were well presented and delicious. Thumbs up! Staff were attentive to customer needs too. Helped my elderly mom at the popcorn station. Thank you.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this outlet, but after today, I’m done. Clearly the chef has changed, and the new one should NOT be allowed anywhere near a kitchen. Attached is my order (over $90 worth of food!) and every single item was an utter disappointment. • The Tom Yum Fried Rice and Basil Chicken Rice were completely bland—zero flavour, tasted like they were cooked by someone who has never eaten Thai food in their life. • The so-called Super Tom Yum Bowl was the final straw—mussels and squid smelled borderline rotten, like they were about to go bad. The soup was watery, with the paste floating on top like oil slicks. It was a visual and gastronomic disaster. • Oh, and the egg? The chef claimed two eggs were in the soup but when we checked, there were NONE. When we flagged it to the waitress, she brought it back with one raw egg on top and told us “the other egg was under the soup”. We stirred it thoroughly—no egg. I guess the soup had a black hole. • The flame under the hotpot wasn’t even working properly. The raw egg remained uncooked even after 15 minutes. • And the soup itself? Salty, disgusting, and flat. Tasted like seawater with a shot of soy sauce. Even the Coke Zero tasted better. This place has become a joke. If you want to flirt with food poisoning, go ahead and eat here. They’ll serve it to you with a side of explosive diarrhoea. To the chef: If you don’t know how to cook, DON’T COOK. Don’t lie to your customers. Don’t risk people’s health. Get another job. Management needs to seriously step in before someone gets hospitalised. I’m NEVER coming back.

Very nice and delicious food especially the sticky rice dessert. The chicken wing, prawn cake and fried beef wasn’t too bad either.

Dine in for 2pax during lunch, staff Apple is very pro active and friendly, able to speak Thai too. Food is tasty and fast serving despite the lunch peak hour. Will definitely visit again.

Didn't manage to take much pictures. Ordered a 2 pax set that comes with a deep-fried thai herb chicken, mushroom kailan, and steam sea bass with chili lime and garlic. Only the steam sea bass was a bit below expectation, would prefer more sour and spicy as I ever had in other outlet. Special shout out to the service here, as I accidentally spilled my drinks right after they serve, the staff (believe to be the person in charge), come and offer to change our table and give us a new cup on drinks. 👍
