Flavours by Saute at Funan Mall pioneers plant-based dining in Singapore, offering fusion vegetarian and vegan cuisine that bridges local and Western culinary traditions without compromising on taste or authenticity. This halal-certified establishment represents the latest venture from the established Saute group, focusing on wholesome, nutritious meals crafted from natural ingredients that exclude alliums (garlic and onion) and alcohol, making it accessible to diverse dietary requirements and religious observances.
The innovative menu features creative interpretations of beloved local dishes, including the signature Orh Luak available in Sichuan Mala, Quinoa, and chef-recommended Truffle varieties, alongside the popular Laksa Lion Mane Spaghetti that combines nostalgic laksa flavors with sautéed lion mane mushrooms. Standout dishes include Nyonya Otah Cutlet Quinoa Rice, which foregoes mock meat in favor of house-made baked Nyonya Otah Cutlet, and individual hotpots like Black Kut Teh Yee Noodles ($11.50), a thoughtful vegan interpretation of traditional Bak Kut Teh that maintains the essence of the original dish.
Located at #B1-30 and operating daily 11:30am-9:30pm with last orders at 8:45pm, Flavours by Saute creates a homely environment where families and friends can enjoy satisfying meals together. The restaurant offers both dine-in and delivery options through their dedicated website, ensuring accessibility for customers seeking convenient plant-based dining solutions. Through its commitment to quality ingredients, innovative preparation methods, and inclusive approach to dietary restrictions, Flavours by Saute demonstrates that plant-based cuisine can be both indulgent and authentic while promoting health and sustainability.

More like contemporary vegetarian cuisine than your childhood vegetarian taste from temples/hawkers. The tastes of lion's mane mushroom ee mian noodles was too heavy for its taste, couldn't taste the ingredients. Though I liked their tofu nuggets with curry sauce, it's curry sauce was too salty and causing my lips to be drier than usual after eating. Pineapple fried rice was a single layered taste. Most annoying was their payments machine can only accept physical cards, it has happened everytime. It won't work with mobile phone GPay.

Thank you Belle for the wonderful service! First time eating at a vegan/vegetarian restaurant and Flavours did not disappoint! Had the pesto and fried rice! Will come back to sample other dishes on the menu 👍🏽

I recently brought my team for a meal, and we were all thoroughly impressed! The variety of vegetarian dishes was outstanding, with flavors that even non-vegetarians would appreciate. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and packed with taste. The ambiance was inviting, making it a great place for both casual and team gatherings. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a wonderful dining experience with some requested customisation. If you’re looking for delicious vegetarian food that doesn’t compromise on flavour, this is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure!

Great vegetarian selection with different cuisine varieties, pizza, carrot cake, pork trotter vinegar, curry with cutlet. Most exemplary is the service provided by the staffs, they were accommodating to my big group and tried their best to put us together. When one of the staff saw me holding onto the birthday cake, she immediately took it from me and initiated to put in the fridge for me. Thank you so much for the attentive service. Our family enjoyed ourselves. ☺️

From what I can tell this is the only vegetarian/vegan store in Funan mall. Located at the basement amount the many other eateries. Food is decent and price is reasonable. I had visited with friend before but this time we went there for a late dinner with my GF. She ordered the Olive Fried Rice.. which I've seen better looking ones but apparently it taste OK. The vegetable shop was OK to go with plain white rice as my stomach is not feeling well. I suppose in order to give them a fair shake I will visit them again when I'm feeling fine. I recall they were OK.. nothing memorable but it's decent.

I really like the fusion food that is offered here! There's a diverse menu + the staff was so kind, They even made a balloon animal for my child! The food was okay, The taste was just okay but the uniqueness of it made it worth the try. They only allow 1 hour and a half hour dining. And they charge for water.

Awesome experience at Saute Flavours today! Staff was friendly and the food we ordered came at a good time. Usually the outlet that i frequent is the one at City Square mall, and during today's rare visit here, I was surprised to find that there are more choices in the menu. Saute never disappointed and is always my go to place to have a good and relaxing meal with my family and friends:) Try out the dishes that we tried today! - Truffle Mushroom Soup - Mash Potatoes - Petai Multigrain fried rice w satay sticks - Triple cheesy pizza! For a couple that likes chinese and western food respectively, the fusion choices here works wonders, highly recommend!

Quiet place with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, done decently without quite being spectacular. Lots of seating on weeknights, friendly and efficient staff.

First time try. Though vegetarian, the oyster egg omelette, lion mane Yee Mee (noodle) and the satay (lion mane) were yummy! The menu offers a wide variety of dishes including pasta, pizza and baked rice. Check it out! 👍

Glanced upon the restaurant by chance and so glad we did! Really good and delicious food , and loved the breadth of options the restaurant offers. If you are a vegetarian or vegan should definitely try a meal at Flavours by Saute :)

The vegetarian BTK (12.50) was interesting to say the least, it mimicked the Malaysian style Herbal BKT. The flavour profile was acceptable, but the lion mane mushroom tasted stale, like dry cardboard. I am unsure if it is normal?

Extensive selection of vegetarian menu at reasonable prices! We observed what other tables ordered and everything looked so good. Got the Black Kut Teh Yee Noodle, broth was so flavourful and goes so well with yee mee. I finished up the whole bowl of soup. We also ordered Orh Luak after reading so much good reviews about this dish. The Orh Luak did not impress us, too much tapioca flour used in the eggs resulting in sticky bites. There isn’t much aroma too. Tried their Lion Mane Rice via FoodPanda previously - Taste is still good but ingredients were a little underwhelming and broth was a bit too thick. Food portions are all generous. Service was excellent. Attentive and prompt. Serving time was reasonable (about 15mins after ordering, Orh Luak took about 25mins) considering a full lunch crowd. Many tables were having their pizzas and rice plates. We ought to return to taste more of their menu. Please consider opening a Sauté Flavour at Tiong Bahru Plaza. Severely lacked of good vegetarian restaurants for family dining at Tiong Bahru and Redhill area. Very much needed especially when there are so many more new families moving into these areas after BTOs are ready.
