Really well done beef with tons of sides to choose from, both cold and hot! It's probably my first time seeing wakame udon as a side dish, and I really enjoyed it. My medium-rare beef was cooked on point and it was both tender and juicy, but oily as well. I really enjoyed the fries as the seasoning was not too overwhelming but had a slight hint of spice still. The ambience here was good. Definitely returning.

I ordered a tri-tip medium rare, but the experience was disappointing. The first time, it came out well-done. On the second and third attempts, it was undercooked—raw and cold. After three tries, I gave up and left. On the bright side, the waitress was kind and understanding. She offered to refund the meal, which I appreciated.

Love the juicy denver cut. Melts in the mouth even being cooked medium well. Chicken and fish are also delicious. The side dishes are fabulous. Wide variety, tasty and generous portion. Love its mushroom and big juicy onion rings. Comes with a free ice cream. Really value for money! Staff are friendly too! Kudos! Love dining here :)

I'm sad to hear that Bizen at Funan will be permanently closing its doors on July 27, 2025, but I wanted to give a shoutout to the amazing food and service we experienced during our visit yesterday! The steaks were delicious, and Sharon's service was top-notch - friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. It's clear she takes pride in her work. Wishing the team all the best for the future.

We ordered the Platter for 2 combo which came with 1 knuckle steak, 1 chicken katsu, 2 sides, 1 Asari Clams, 2 chawamushi and 2 green tea plus free flow ice cream. My Mac Bac & Cheese didn't come with bacon bits and I felt it wasn't well mixed with the melted cheese either. The sautéed mushrooms were decent but not wow. The steak was cooked to perfection but because we didn't have a choice of the cut for the platter, the knuckle wasn't our favourite cut. The chicken katsu was a little over fried and oily but a generous portion. We ordered an extra potato salad on the side which was lovely, the classic Astons style which was great. The Mingo-brand chocolate ice cream was not bad too. Overall reasonable pricing and friendly service.
